Jaqueline and William – Downtown Houston Engagement Session

These two are such a GQ couple. I mean seriously, don’t they just take your breath away. Corey & I had a blast shooting their engagement session. We decided to do a night shoot for a little something different, and it is summertime in Texas after all. We had to dodge some drizzling rain, but all turned out well. Jaqueline & William are naturals in front of the camera. But then I don’t think they could do anything to look bad. We can’t wait to shoot their wedding in October.

Here are some of the photos from the engagement session, and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook. I’ll be posting more from their session on our page tomorrow !

Hermann Park Engagement – Family Shoot : Courtney & Corey

A couple of weeks ago Corey & I had the delight of photographing Courtney, another  Corey and Courtney’s little girl Kelli. We met up at Hermann park and were lucky enough to get some shoot time in before one of the Houston thunderstorms ended the session for us.

Be sure you’re a fan of our Facebook Page. I’ll be posting more photos there soon !!

Japanese Gardens Engagement : Opie & Christine

Well if your from the Houston area then you know what the weather here is like. Either we get no rain all season (like last summer) or we get drenched everyday. Well even though we have been battling crazy rainy weather for the past couple of weeks, we have still been able to sneak in a few engagement sessions.  I know it’s getting late but I wanted to share one of them with you tonight.

They met through a Craiglist post and shortly realized they had found there soul mates. After 5 months he took her to what she thought would be a regular old fishing trip and ended up being a trip to the beach she will never forget. While sitting on pier 17 at sunset he pulled out a moleskin journal, she had purchased him, an proceeded to read the most amazing proposal to her, incorporating all of their special songs. I really don’t know if there is another couple out there as sweet as Opie & Christine.

Christine & I met through social media. She is a social media guru and author of the most amazing blog regarding her journey through planning a wedding and undergoing brain surgery at the same time. Check her blog out for yourself. You will be pulled right in, trust me. 🙂 I am so so glad that a mutual FB friend put us in touch !

The day of the session it rained cats and dogs all day. We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to pull it off. With a lot of  frantic texting between Christine and myself  we were debating our options. Then at the last minute the skies cleared and left behind the most amazing light. We battled the humidity and got some great photos of the lovely couple as well as some of the local wildlife….

What did I tell you? Aren’t they the cutest ?!?! Be sure you “Like” our Facebook page I will be posting the rest of their images there soon !!!

Well a couple of months ago Corey & I finally got to travel to NYC to meet them.  The day before their wedding we met up to do an “engagement” session. We started out at the pier in Hoboken, NJ where they live, and then headed over to Central Park. It was such a fun day and I knew right away that I was gonna LOVE this couple !!!

Amanda & Marvin Engagement – Galveston, TX

I have know Amanda for a few years now. She is one of the sweetest people anyone could ever have the pleasure of meeting. She called my a couple of months ago and asked if  she & her fiancé Marvin could hire Corey & I to shoot their wedding. I was so happy that they chose us !! She is such a cute person with a cute personality I just knew that taking photos of her would be a fun experience.

After meeting Marvin I knew that she found someone that actually deserved her. He is such a good guy and they were so cute together. We had a great time shooting their engagement photos on Saturday. We had a little bit of trouble settling on a place. But finally agreed on Galveston. I am so glad we did. It was alot of fun and I think we got some great photos of them.

Here are just a few of the ones we have done so far. Corey is  feverishly working on editing the rest from the session as we speak.

Amanda & Marvin we can’t wait for the wedding in October in the mean time enjoy this sneak peak.
